Jo and I met at the tile store a couple days ago. I told her she had to come and contribute but it was really about getting her to take notes and bring coffee (which by the way she does well, except for the note taking). The plan is to use only ceramic in all the bathrooms. No natural stone. Below is the girls bathroom. Its a pale green/grey it will be in the shower on the floors and halfway up the sink wall. It's going to look perfect with the paint color I've picked. The question is will it hide the massive amounts of hair these girls shed?
Below is the boys bathroom AKA (Nee). I picked a extra large white subway tile but instead of white grout I picked a dark gray. I think this will have a bigger impact especially because it will also be on the walls as well. The floor will have the same grout but a different tile. The floor with be a small dark gray mosaic. It's really just there to make the wall tile pop. The question is where will Nee keep his toilet paper roll collection? (hoarder!)
The master bathroom......well the good news.... is Dad decided against the geriatric bath tub. No I am not kidding he actually wanted a bath tub with a door on it that he could walk into. Thankfully they are crazy exspensive (we dodged a bullet here with this one mom).
So my concept for the master bath is definitely unique. Jo and I picked two different neutrals of mosaic tiles and we are going to stripe the sink wall shower and floor. Five rows of each. Pretty genius if you ask me.
