Taking Care of Business...(Maybe Not All The Time..)

So I've been busy.  I know who hasn't. Between digging ourselves out of 24 inches of snow, which makes me wonder... did we renovate in the wrong state? That is besides the point because we are past the point of no return and the house looks amazing.  I've been traveling for work so I have been unable to see whats been going on.  So big D I would like to give you a well deserved (premature) pat on the back.

So for the sake of not putting you into shock.  The walls are painted now (first coat only) the wood floors are down and stained.  I of course picked out the color.  Thankfully the floor guys had a shovel because they stared the day after the big storm.

I stared the unveiling by taking off my hand me down-hand me down Ugg's (special thanks to Jen and than special thanks to mom).  Here is a reminder to take your shoes off people!!!! TAKE THEM OFF!

WOW here is the kitchen the walls are painted a warm white (it has a touch of gray in it).  The beam running through the ceiling will be a wood beam after the cabinets are installed.
Here is a picture of where the kitchen ceiling meets the wall so you can see the color of the walls.  Touch of gray right?

This is the area where the kitchen table will go. I know what you are thinking....Is this a beautiful floor or what?

The back hall to the master bedroom, laundry room and powder room.
I love the way the powder room color looks against the floors.
The laundry room is sort of the catch-all right now (sort of like it will be when the kids start throwing their crap in here)
Here's the master bedroom (if you look in the white closet it will help you see the wall color)
More master bed.
So if you head back through the kitchen and toward the entry room..........
I walked into the Entry room and was dying over the natural light that poured into this room
It's hard to tell but this room is a light grey.  Much darker then the kitchen. NOT WHITE

This shows the wall color a bit better (look at the white strip on the floor) see Jor it is a color!
As you turn left down the hall towards Nee's wing.
This is Nee's bathroom as horrifyingly as it seems, the wall color looks good!!! Reminder the white tile(with dark gray grout) will go half way up the walls.

Here it is Nee Wee's play house.  As you can see we still haven't resolved what to do with the fireplace but look at those walls with the floors.  I know I know.......it's good.

Here is a view from Nee's hall to the girls rooms.

Here is the girls bath. You can't really tell but the walls are a tanish/pinky color.  It looks great with the tile floor.
Here is J&J's room it's a soft green (not mint) don't worry Jor.  Once again look at the closet to see the color of the wall.
Another angle of J&J's room

Here is K&K's room.  It's a light purple/gray and changes with the light.
This picture really makes the walls look purple right?  I'm sure Kara will figure to how to make this room  more pink.
Here is an artistic picture of the floor.  I could not resist.
